Art Therapy

Art Therapy Experiences and Therapeutic Support for Groups and Individuals, in Bogota and remotely

What is Art Therapy?

Art Therapy is a journey of self-discovery through free creative expression. It encompasses relaxation, meditation, and catharsis. Art Therapy offers a holistic approach to understanding oneself, fostering personal growth, navigating challenging life situations, and recharging energies. Beyond individual exploration, art therapy becomes a powerful tool for groups and teams, allowing them to address and resolve tensions in an indirect and non-aggressive manner, among other possibilities.

Do you need to be an artist to engage in art therapy? Definitely not. Carl Gustav Jung even held the opinion that technical perfectionism can obstruct the messages our souls wish to convey through images, distracting us from the essence. Artistic expression, free from concerns about technique, serves as a bridge connecting us to our creative source or inner wisdom, as aptly named by Pat Allen.
